Helotes.
Originally incorporated as a city in 1981, Helotes was always considered a small town on the outskirts of the Greater San Antonio area, until recently when an explosion in homebuilding left the population growing exponentially. While the city has grown so much in recent years, the renovation of the Old Town Helotes area – completed in 2011 – shows the city’s roots as a small town. The thoroughfare of Bandera Road is a commercial and shopping powerhouse hosting large shopping centers, businesses, and restaurants.
At Clean Air Heating and Air Conditioning, we are proud to provide heating and air condition services to the homeowners in all sections of Helotes. Our design/build experience and our custom approach to whole home comfort solutions can be wildly beneficial to the residents of Helotes, and we offer affordable HVAC repairs, maintenance, tune-ups and services to ensure that Helotes residents are always comfortable in their homes, and are conserving energy when they run their HVAC systems.
The general topography of the Helotes, TX area – with its flat, bushy stretches and low rolling hills – is the perfect area to generate problems with indoor air quality. High winds and blowing dust from the area’s agricultural properties cause a lot of dust, debris and contaminates to flow into the HVAC systems of homes in Helotes. In addition to making filters clog more regularly, that filthy air continues to circulate in your home and even into your lungs and the lungs of everyone who enters the house. We protect your home, your HVAC system and the health of Helotes residents by performing indoor air quality tests – to see what contaminates are in your home – and then cleaning out the air and keeping it clean with our IAQ products. Protect Yourself… get your air quality tested as soon as possible, you never know what an indoor air quality audit can show you about the air you are regularly breathing.

Alamo Heights.
An affluent city in the urban core of the Greater San Antonio, TX area, Alamo Heights is filled with gorgeous older homes and historic buildings. Many of San Antonio’s wealthiest often vie for the chance to own a home in this much sought-after area, with median prices for residents nearing half a million dollars. Alamo Heights is also home to the San Antonio Botanical Garden, The North Star Mall, the Witte Museum, San Antonio Zoo, and the Alamo Quarry Market shopping center.
At Clean Air Heating and Air Conditioning, we get very excited when we are able to offer our expert HVAC services to the residents of Alamo Heights. Servicing the historic homes in this area offers a great many challenges to HVAC professionals, as many of the homes were built in the early 1900s, before the modern air conditioning and heating systems had really taken hold in much of the country. Because of this, older homes can be drafty, have hot/cold spots, may not be set up to run ductwork, etc. We accept all of these challenges and work hard to provide our Alamo Heights customers with unique and customized solutions to any and all HVAC concerns.
Not only are we Alamo Heights residents’ top choice for installation and replacement services, we are also the best choice for performing routine services and maintenance on your existing air conditioning systems, furnaces, heat pumps and heating systems. We are local HVAC contractors, so we know exactly the perfect times during the year to tune-up heating and cooling systems, maintain those systems, and what to look out for during the various weather seasons in San Antonio.

Olmos Park.
Originally developed as an exclusive San Antonio Neighborhood, Olmos Park is one of the San Antonio area’s oldest and most historic districts. Highly affluent, and filled with historic and classical home designs, there are over 800 single family homes in the area with most being valued anywhere from $700,000 to well over $1,000,000! The residents of Olmos Park are very friendly and the area is very sought-after by families for its proximity to downtown San Antonio, and its small-town feeling.
Olmos Park is one of our favorite service areas at Clean Air Heating and Air Conditioning; filled with so many large and historic houses, it offers us the opportunity to really flex our HVAC skills and continue our custom design/build HVAC solutions. Older homes can get drafty, dusty, or have hot and cold spots; some homes in the area don’t even have HVAC systems, or have aging systems that were installed decades ago. We know that we can be the best HVAC service option for owners of historic homes, and newer homes as well; we can perform any HVAC service from minor repairs and maintenance to full heating and air conditioning system replacement.
Clean Air Heating and Air Conditioning technicians will almost always suggest an indoor air quality test for homes in the Olmos Park area; not only for historic homes, but all homes – new and old. The reason is due to the close proximity to the downtown area. While San Antonio has some of the cleanest skies in the country – for a metropolitan city – the fact remains that a higher amount of pollution will likely seep into your home heating and air conditioning systems. As for older and historic homes, those homes were built during times when homebuilders were still using products and materials that we now know to be hazardous to humans. Be safe and order our IAQ audit and testing to see what contaminates or allergens may be floating around in your home.

Terrell Hills.
A wealthy suburb of the Greater San Antonio, TX area, Terrell Hills is a community named for Doctor Frederick Terrell who was the mayor of San Antonio in 1901, and a former banker in the city. Doctor Frederick Terrell sold 22.5 acres of his land to “The Terrell Hills Community,” a private associate that wished to build a community. A fairly older neighborhood, Terrell Hills is still hotly sought after by real estate purchasers, and is one of the most booming of real estate markets in the San Antonio area.
While the homes in the Terrell Hills area are not as old as the surrounding areas, Terrell Hills homes average over 50 years old, and a good portion of those have heating and air conditioning systems that are about that old as well. We love to bring our HVAC services to Terrell Hills, because we never know what we are going to get with the HVAC service calls in the area. Most service calls to Terrell Hills offer unique challenges, which we gladly except and flex our custom design/build qualifications
We highly recommend this service for all of our Terrell Hills area clients! Older homes are more susceptible to issues with indoor air quality for several reasons. Firstly, if your home is older than 30 years you may have an issue with dangerous materials inside of the building or walls that can easily permeate your air systems and get blown around the house. Additionally, dust and contaminates can also easily make their way into the ductwork and get circulated as well. Our Indoor Air Quality testing will see what exactly is in the air of your home, and then work to give your home IAQ a clean bill of health.
